I believe in community and public service. I grew up learning the value of community engagement and the power and determination of grassroots movements.
I am a collaborator; I have been listening to people's ideas in Rideau-Rockcliffe for 25 years including terms as Chair of a Community Council and President of a Community Association where I am proud to have served on the team that actively fought against a bridge at Kettle Island. As a Board member of the United Way Public Service Engagement Cabinet and a member of Spark United Way, I saw the need to support families with access to services and networks for the young and old. I was a Board member of the Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre when the Post-Incident Neighbourhood Response Network was developed to increase the saftey of our communities.
I am running to represent you. As City Councillor for Rideau-Rockcliffe, I will represent your views, fight for our communities and create a future for Rideau-Rockcliffe and Ottawa that we can all be proud of. As a City and as Rideau-Rockcliffe we are Better Together.
